Ellen & Chris met in New York City in 2019 when Ellen started her first job out of Penn State at SinglePlatform, where, as fate would have it, Chris was a sales manager. What started as a professional connection eventually grew into something more, as they bonded over their shared love of good food, city life, and making each other laugh.

As their relationship developed, they loved exploring New York together, until the world came to a halt in 2020. On March 13, 2020, they headed up to Chris' family's house in Lake George (we love you, Aunt Judy!) for what they thought would be a long weekend escape from the city. What started as a ski trip weekend turned into weeks, then months, as they spent their time together filled with long work-from-home days (under the radar), home-cooked meals, and endless laughter.

It was in Lake George that they learned to love each other.

After the pandemic, they took the next big step, moving in together and making a home in Slate Hill, NY. From there, life continued to bring them new adventures: traveling, making unforgettable memories with friends and family, and, of course, always hosting dinner parties.

In 2023, Chris brought their love story full circle by proposing in Lake George, the place where their relationship truly deepened. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, they celebrated the beginning of their forever.

Now, they’re counting down to the next big celebration, their wedding in Chicago, where Ellen grew up and where her family still resides.

They can’t wait to raise a glass and celebrate the start of forever with all the wonderful people who have been a part of their story!
